I am a Master Certified Addiction Professional (MCAP) with over 18 years of experience working with individuals and families facing substance use and mental health challenges. I entered the field in 2008, working as a Behavioral Health Technician and later as a case manager while completing my education, and began counseling in 2010.
My approach is straightforward and individualized. I try to meet people where they are and create a space where they feel comfortable being honest about what they’re going through. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI), along with a trauma-informed perspective, to help clients and families better understand patterns, improve communication, and build practical tools for long-term change.
I believe recovery is about more than just stopping substance use—it’s about building a life that feels worth living.
